Bhim UPI 2.0 app to be launched today, payment facility will be available in 13 languages

The central government is going to launch Bhim UPI 2.0 app today. The Minister of Electronic and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad Startup Summit will launch this new app. In this new app, more features have been made available to customers. Along with this, more languages ​​have been included in this app to connect all the people of the country with digital payments. At present, Bhim UPI app provides payment facility in 13 languages.

According to a ministry official, a donation gateway has also been added to the new Bhima UPI 2.0 app. Through this feature, people will also be able to donate through the Bhima app. Apart from this, the offers made by the merchant will also be seen in the new app.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Bhima App in December 2016. This app is operated by the National Payment Corporation of India. So far, more than 1 thousand crore transactions have been done in this app. Maximum digital transactions take place in the country through UPI.
